Sayed Abdelhafiz, the club’s director of football and head of Al Ahly’s football first-team delegation in Niger, spoke ahead of the team’s game against Union Sportive de la Gendarmerie Nationale (USGN).

In an interview with us, Abdelhafiz said that the team is looking forward to having a strong start in the competition.

He also added by saying that Saturday’s encounter will not be an easy one and that the team is focused on achieving a positive result.

Abdelhafiz concluded his interview by revealing that the coaching staff made sure to review and analyze multiple games of Niger’s USGN in the past couple of days.

The Red Eagles will face USGN in the first leg of the CAF Champions League round of 32 on Saturday at 5:30 PM, Cairo time, at Stade Général Seyni Kountché in Niamey.
